The client is a pet cloning company based in the UK. Catering to 40,000 satisfied owners worldwide, the client uses pet images and a brief of pet characteristics to create custom pet clones - handmade pet replicas. They also sell custom made figurines, slippers, memorials, accessories, gift cards, purses, portraits, and more, with customer provided images.
The client had a high-volume of dog photos and required illustrations of each photo, with a hand drawn effect.
Creating hand drawn sketches detailing pet characteristics proved challenging.
O2I analyzed the requirement and scheduled a quality test (trial). Next, the client sent O2I ten JPEG images via Dropbox, and emailed a workflow process.
O2I assigned one full-time resource to illustrate the images, using Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop software. The final output was provided in both an Illustrator file and PSD format. The trial was successfully completed within 24 hours.
The client signed a full-time contract to outsource five hundred images to O2I. O2I allocated three full-time resources to handle the high-volume of images, and delivered ten images per day. The project was successfully completed in a month and a half.
