The Client

Based out of Illinois, USA, the client operates throughout the globe with their unique and innovative healthcare compliance software. The client helps customers mitigate compliance risks by allowing them to utilize their database for expert validation. The company offers award-winning solutions for Key Opinion Leaders (KOL) Management, Medical Affairs Programs, Speaker Programs, Study Management & Grant Funding, etc. The client has a growing list of clientele including 8 out of the top 10 pharmaceutical companies and 3 out of the top 5 medical device companies.

Requirement & Challenges

The requirement can be classified into two parts, primary (to update information on the existing list of KOLs) and secondary research (to add relevant KOLs to the list and enrich it with detailed profile information). In the primary research, the client needed basic KOL profile details such as full name, email ID, phone number, current affiliation, address, etc.

The secondary research involved more in-depth analysis such as professional activities, referring clinical trials, publications, press release, books, events or conference, guidelines, journal activities, industrial affiliations, etc. The challenge was to collect and validate such large volumes of data within a stringent timeline. The client was looking for a research partner who could provide error-free reports within a shorter turnaround time to avoid any delay in different stages of product lifecycle management.
