The Client
Based out of Basingstoke, United Kingdom, the client is the world leader in cash management services provider. With over 60 years of expertise and presence in over 100 countries, the client is a focused and end-to-end solutions provider with a long list of satisfied clients that includes, banks airports, casinos, hospitals, and more. The client offers cash center consultation, data, and software solutions as well as sorting machines and integrated solutions for currency management.
Requirement & Challenges
The client wanted to migrate from Solid Edge to PTC Creo. The client had many designs that had to be migrated to reflect new changes while meeting the latest design standards. To be able to load into their design library, the designs much reflect changes in a certain manner and the correct annotations needed to be used, failing which the designs will not load and rework will be needed. The challenge was to follow previously created designs to understand the standards that the new designs needed to be created in and work on the designs before uploading those to the online design library owned by the client.
Our Solution
Outsource2india has helped many clients with PTC Creo 3D modeling and has also helped migrate from legacy design files to the latest technologies and tools. The client provided Solid Edge 3D models of these machines along with relevant PDFs and the team that involved two senior Creo specialists who have ample domain experience, created these PTC Creo 3D models and sent the client.
The team also provided electrical CAD drawings for these drawings and all the circuit marked in the designs were converted into designs. The project approximately took about 30 working days and delighted the client with highly accurate and precise design work.
