The Requirement

The customer wished to streamline their business operation by using an offshore solution that would address their 2D drawing requirements. Before approaching Outsource2india, the customer looked for an offshore vendor who would provide a 2D drawing solution that could be seamlessly integrated with their production processes. The customer also had the following technical requirements -

• The 2D detailing of parts and assemblies had to be designed as per ANSI Y 14.5
• The 2D drawings had to be enabled with projection, sectional, auxiliary and detailed views
• A tolerance task analysis had be carried out and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD & T) had to applied in the 2D drawings
