The Requirement

The client had collated a high-volume of mobile screenshots from its university students. The screenshots were taken on their individual mobile phones, and showcased their app usage.

The client required an outsourcing partner to analyze each screenshot, collate the app data (app name, number of hours used etc.), and enter the same onto a customized CRM portal.

The purpose was to ascertain the kind of apps their students were using (messengers, health, fitness, news etc.), and how much time they were spending on each.

O2I analyzed the clients need and a quality test (trial) was scheduled. The client provided O2I with a one hour telephonic training. Next, the client transferred twenty screenshots to O2I via G-Drive.

O2I designated one full-time resource to study the mobile screenshots, and note the apps used. Each app was placed under a specific category (example literature, games, educational etc.). The time spent on the app, and the type of mobile was also noted. Next the resource keyed in the data onto an Excel sheet, and shared via G-Drive. The trial was successfully completed in one business day.

The client signed an ongoing contract with O2I to outsource 40,000 screenshots (4000 users) every week. O2I assigned twenty full-time resources to handle the ongoing project.
